Kettering Health is expanding access to care in the Xenia region of Ohio with a $15 million investment to construct a new Health Center. The 24,000-square-foot facility, set to open in 2028, will feature primary care offices, on-demand care, X-ray and laboratory services. The center will also offer specialty care from providers including cardiologists, orthopedists and gynecologists. Additionally, the new facility will create 40 support staff positions designated to run the facility's day-to-day clinical operations, diagnostic services and administrative needs, further strengthening access to health care services throughout Greene County, Ohio.
Why We Did It
In its 2023 Community Health Assessment, Greene County identified access to care as one of its top priorities. Xenia was recognized as an area where this need was especially significant. Through a partnership between the City of Xenia and Kettering Health, the organizations aim to help close the gap in health care access across this rural community, all while providing coordinated care.
