Adventist Health, in partnership with Valle de la Trinidad, is leading a healthcare project in rural Mexico to build a better health system in Baja California, focusing on expanding services in Valle de la Trinidad and Loreto. The project aims to improve healthcare access and outcomes for underserved communities by filling key gaps in primary care, specialty services, and hospital care.
Why We Did It
Recognizing the need for improved healthcare access in rural Baja California, Mexico, Adventist Health started this project to address gaps in medical services. The region faced challenges in providing its population with adequate primary care, specialty services, and hospital facilities. Adventist Health aims to build a sustainable healthcare model to guide rural health development in other parts of Mexico.
