In 2023, the Global Missions team at AdventHealth, based in Florida, broadened its efforts by including new locations, such as the Angelia Adventist Clinic in Kyiv, Ukraine. The initiative focused on providing medical services, refugee support, and whole-person care across 14 countries. The Global Missions team has staff in Florida, Colorado, and Kansas, with volunteers from all parts of the organization. Over 300 volunteers, including healthcare providers, nurses, and support staff, participated in 23 mission trips. These trips included surgeries, diagnoses, and medical assistance to underserved communities, alongside funding for medical equipment and support for educational programs.
