The AdventHealth Manchester Foundation hosted its annual Lighting the Way Foundation Banquet on October 16, 2025, at the EKU Manchester Campus. The event brought together community members, sponsors and supporters to advance patient care in the region. With more than 30 team member volunteers and 165 attendees, the event raised more than $13,000 to support the hospital’s Modernization Project, an initiative focused on renovating patient rooms with updated equipment, upgraded bathrooms and modern furnishings to create a more comfortable environment for patients and families. Banquet guests enjoyed live music from Paisley Grace, dinner catered by Local Honey, desserts from Jennifer Begley and a silent auction featuring a variety of donated items and experiences.

Why We Did It

The Lighting the Way Foundation Banquet was created to unite the community around a shared commitment to improving the patient experience at AdventHealth Manchester. As the hospital continues investing in its Modernization Project, community support plays an important role in helping provide spaces that promote comfort and healing. By gathering local businesses, donors and residents, the event not only raised funding for patient room upgrades but also brought the community together.
