As the public health community continues to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, private companies have increased the attention being paid to marginalized and at-risk populations. Racial and ethnic minorities, people living in poverty and those experiencing homelessness face increased difficulties in accessing COVID-19 vaccines. In many of these communities, misinformation about the safety and efficacy of these vaccines compounds these challenges.
