Last week, CMS announced the new Enhancing Oncology Model (EOM), set to launch in July of 2023. Part of President Biden’s Cancer Moonshot, the model will focus on supporting and learning from cancer patients, caregivers and cancer survivors, while addressing inequities and providing patients with treatments that address their unique needs. The model will build on learnings from CMS’ Oncology Care Model, which is being sunset this year.
