The health care industry has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. The financial fallout caused by cancelled or postponed elective surgeries along with costs associated with COVID-19 treatment have strained hospitals’ bottom lines. To help, Congress has voted to further extend Medicare sequester cuts until December 31, 2021.
