AdventHealth-Central Texas hosted the CardioCare Expo in February 2024 at the Killeen hospital’s conference room to support Heart Health Month. Why we did it
Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The CardioCare Expo aimed to address the need for early detection and prevention of heart disease in the Killeen community. By offering free screenings and education, AdventHealth-Central Texas sought to empower individuals to take charge of their heart health and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular issues.
