HHS Postpones Preventative Health Advisory Panel Meeting… Again
The March meeting of the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) has been postponed for a third time, making it a year since the group met to set preventative care standards for the nation. The taskforce focuses on issuing guidance on cancer screenings and other preventative health measures that insurers must cover at no cost to the patient, but HHS Secretary Kennedy has expressed interest in fully disbanding the panel—calling them “too woke.” HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon didn’t give a reason for the third cancellation but promised the meeting will take place “in the coming months.”
