Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra and other HHS leaders have kicked off a national tour to hear directly from Americans about the behavioral health challenges they’re facing. The tour’s goal is to work with local leaders to strengthen community behavioral health and crisis care systems. HHS has also announced new initiatives and funding to support access to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and prevention, and to strengthen behavioral health for children and young adults.
