The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and the Sequoia Project announced the publication of the TEFCA, marking the beginning of the implementation phase. Soon, entities (or groupings of organizations that agree to the same data-sharing infrastructure) will be able to apply to be designated as Qualified Health Information Networks.
