HHS has announced the members of the new Healthcare Advisory Committee (HAC); the Committee will be tasked with advising federal leaders on ways to modernize the U.S. health care system. Its policy recommendations will go to Secretary Kennedy and Administrator Dr. Oz for future consideration. Members will serve for two years and focus on ways HHS can better reflect the Make America Healthy Again agenda. Of the pool of more than 400 nominees, the 18 members selected include: 

  • Executive leaders from Cleveland Clinic, Intermountain Health and Sanford Health; 
  • Physicians and clinical leaders focused on primary care, mental health and population health; 
  • Health policy lawyers and academics; 
  • Health IT experts from health care analytics companies;
