• HHS and the Department of Transportation propose the addition of fentanyl to drug-testing panels used in the transportation workplace. Comments will be accepted for 42 days. 
  • CMS has announced the approved renewal of the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission for MA Health Maintenance Organizations and local Preferred Provider Organizations. The notice is applicable from July 10, 2025 – July 10, 2031.  
  • Maryland, led by Morgan State University, has been approved by HHS to access $350,000 in funding for the Maternal Health Research Collaborative for Minority-Serving Institutions. The funds will be used to study biological and socioeconomic factors impacting patients’ health across the state.
