Adventist Health created the Mass Vaccination Clinic at Glendale Community College to meet the need for accessible vaccination services. Set up in the college’s parking structure, this project collaborated with the local fire and police departments to create an efficient vaccination site. With a layout designed for smooth patient flow and a daily capacity of 2,500 vaccinations—including 24 vaccination pods, 18 registration stations, 6 check-in stations, and an 80-seat recovery and observation area—the clinic serves as a resource for community health.

Why We Did It

Adventist Health created the Glendale Mass Vaccination Clinic to provide an efficient vaccination solution to meet high demand. The project transformed the college’s parking structure, available due to remote learning, into a well-organized vaccination site to address immediate public health needs.

“There’s a future that’s going to be different, that’s going to look better than it has for this last year. It’s been a big challenge. It’s been difficult for many. And I see the hope, and I’m happy to say that we are part of that hope."
